Contractors assess and perform repairs within their licence and scope. Real estate agents and property managers can make an introduction with the owner’s permission. Claim representation remains the licensed adjuster’s responsibility.

Our responsibility

We review the insurance claim, explain whether representation may help, and handle adjusting work under a separate written agreement.

The homeowner’s choice

The homeowner decides whether to hire a public adjuster and which contractor to use. A referral does not create a representation agreement.

What makes a useful claim handoff?

  • The type of damage and when it was first noticed.
  • Whether a claim is open, denied, underpaid, or not yet filed.
  • The property city, the carrier if known, and the reason the job is stalled.
  • The homeowner’s permission to share their contact details.

No paid referrals. No construction interest.

Care Claims does not pay contractors for referrals or share adjusting fees with contractors. Public adjusting and construction remain separate. Florida’s public adjuster referral restrictions and conflict-of-interest rules govern these relationships.
